Dear Alex, although I can't pretend to know how you feel, I can imagine it's really, really hard. I imagine that it has to be so hard, disappointing, difficult, painful, this not fair stuff. I can promise you this, you owe it to yourself to see it through. You are strong! This is YOUR life, your journey here on Earth. I hope and pray that you will find the strength to dig deep and to see it through. You owe it to yourself to see what's on the other side of this challenge. So, whenever you have the feeling that you want to give up, please take a little time to dream about the wonderful, fantastic life that may lie ahead. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I have faith that you will continue to fight the good fight! Your friend, Marty

Dear Alex: You don't know me, but I have heard about you, your strength and your spirit from Len Forkas. I work with Terri Sutton and Len Forkas and I would like you to know that your "Milestone" family is, indeed behind you! Len has shared your story with us, and you are truly an inspiration. Please know that I will be sending you positive energy and will keep you in my prayers. Stay strong, Alex. From what I hear, if ANYONE can stay strong, it's YOU! Maybe next time you're in Virginia you can meet the rest of your admirers at Milestone! It would certainly be a privilege for me. My best wishes and prayers, Maureen Smith

Alex - I participated in the Hopecam 5k this past weekend and I was completely amazed by your courage and strength. I saw you finish the race and your determination was unparalleled. I wish you the best in this next phase - Chuck Norris has nothing on you!!! Best wishes - Ozzie

Dear Alex, You are such an inspiration to me and to countless people who know you! I was blessed to meet you and your family through the Hopecam connection. I just wanted you to know I am thinking of you and your wonderful family today and in the days and weeks to follow. I am blessed to have two sons, one about your age. And if they have even an ounce of the strength, courage and fight that you have, I am a very proud mom. I know you make your parents and entire family so proud. Sending you lots of prayers and a huge hug!! Stay strong and keep fighting the fight, Jen Bond
